TrackTown 2012 is proud to partner with Point-to-Point Airport Shuttles to provide entered hammer throwers with transportation from PDX to the Hilton Garden Inn in Beaverton, OR. Athletes must make reservations in advance of arriving and should notify the reservation agent that they are U.S. Olympic Trials athletes as well as how many people are in their party. Only the competing athlete will ride the shuttle without charge. All other accompanying passengers must pay online or at the airport at the time of use.

Hammer Time Athlete Travel to Eugene, Hayward Field
There will be transportation provided for the top four finishers in the Men’s and Women’s hammer throw, as well as athletes competing in additional events taking place at Hayward Field. Athlete Shuttle Service is available from the Hilton in Downtown Eugene, the Valley River Inn, Phoenix Inn, Holiday Inn Express. The Athlete shuttle is a free service but you will need your Athlete, Coach, or Athlete Representative credential to board the shuttle. As the shuttle schedule becomes finalized it will be posted on this page. Please be sure to schedule the correct shuttle that will give you enough time before your event to warm up.
Spectators, including athlete family members, are strongly encouraged to utilize the Park and Ride a free shuttle service that is available from two locations: Autzen Stadium and South Eugene High School. Parking for the shuttle is also free. Please note that there is no public parking adjacent to Hayward Field.
Additionally all public transportation service provided by Lane Transit District (LTD) is available at no cost to all TICKET HOLDERS and credentialed persons during the Olympic Trials.
Athlete Shuttle serivice will be available from Hayward Field to the off-site practice facility at Lane Community College.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE BUS
TrackTown 2012, in conjunction with USATF, is proud to partner with HUT Airport Shuttles to provide entered athletes with transportation from PDX to Eugene. This service runs every 2 hours Northbound and Southbound 7 days a week. In order to ensure that enough shuttles are on hand, athletes should make reservations in advance of arriving. Athletes who have officially entered the meet through USATF may use this shuttle at no cost. Athletes must notify the reservation agent that they are an athlete with the Olympic Trials to avoid being charged.

The shuttle will drop off at the Phoenix Inn. Cab service will be provided from the Phoenix Inn to your hotel destination by Oregon Taxi. The Southbound shuttle driver will arrange for cabs to be staged at Phoenix Inn awaiting your arrival.
Eugene Airport to Hotels
Rental car pick-up is available from the Eugene Airport. Contact the car rental company of your choice for availability and reservation information.
OmniShuttle will provide shared ride door-to-door ground transportation from the Eugene Airport to the Eugene area hotels. Athletes should make reservations in advance in order to assure there are enough shuttles on hand to meet the demand. Please indicate that you are an athlete with the U.S. Olympic Trials when making your reservation in order to avoid charges. Shuttle drivers will be equipped with the list of all entered athletes. Please be prepared to show your identification upon boarding. Omni is a 'door to door' shuttle service so they can be used by athletes to ride back to the Eugene airport at no cost. Athletes can also use a taxi but they will have to pay for that ride. This service is only free for athletes, this does not include coaches and Athlete Representatives.
Pole Vault Equipment Travel
Fly-Away Pole Protection pole shipping service is available to transport equipment. The cost of shipping poles is the responsibility of the athlete. Contact Fly-Away Pole Protection via their website at www.flyawaypoles.com or by phone at 717-701-2468.
Shuttles will not be equipped to transport javelins and pole vault poles. Athletes familiar with traveling their own implements may choose to do so via a private rental vehicle.
Athlete Shuttles within Eugene

Spectators, including athlete family members, are strongly encouraged to utilize the Spectator Shuttle - a free shuttle service to Hayward Field available from two locations: Autzen Stadium (Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Leo Harris Parkway) and South Eugene High School (19th Ave and Patterson). Parking at these location is provided at no cost and the shuttle is also free. Please note that there is no public parking adjacent to Hayward Field. The shuttles will run one hour prior to the opening of the Festival and will stop one hour after closing. Click here for Festival Hours

Athlete Shuttle service will be available from Hayward Field to the off-site practice facility at Lane Community College. A van service to the Credential Center is also available from Hayward Field.
Returning to Portland Airport
Northbound athletes traveling from Eugene back to Portland Airport will need to contact Oregon Taxi at 541-434-8294 and arrange transportation from their hotel to Phoenix Inn to catch the HUT shuttle. When calling Oregon Taxi athletes must notify the agent that they have a reservation with HUT to avoid charges.
Starline Coach Lines will be sending busses Northbound on July 2nd. They have agreed to stagger these busses to allow competitors and other credentialed folks to catch a "free" ride back to the Portland Airport throughout the morning of the 2nd. Sign up for this service will be at the Credential Center. Buses will leave from the Hilton at 5:00am, 6:30am, 8am, 9:30am and 11am.
