Qualifying Preview:

The 200m is a race of redemption for Wallace Spearmon. Spearmon was disqualified and stripped of his bronze medal in the Beijing games due to a lane line violation. Spearmon, running well and injury-free, has an opportunity to make things right in London. Those looking to challenge him include rival Walter Dix, Mookie Salaam, Justin Gatlin and Doc Patton. Newly crowned NCAA champion Maurice Mitchell of Florida State leads a strong young contingent that also includes Pretzel Hardy and Ameer Webb of Texas A&M.
